On February 17 at 10:30 a.m., the BJFEZ Authority held its first Investment Promotion Advisory Committee Meeting. The meeting saw the Commissioner's appointment of committee members and the election of the committee's chairman, Choong-hee Nam who currently serves as Chairman of Magellan Investment Corporation. The committee also elected its Vice Chairman, James Rooney, CEO and President of Market Force in Seoul. The purpose of the advisory committee is to assist in promoting FDI into the BJFEZ as well as to advise the Authority on ways to further induce investment.

Vice Chairman James Rooney kicked off the first meeting by suggesting members adopt three key words as theycarry outtheir roles in committee: Enthusiasm, Inspiration and Perspiration.
