BJFEZ formed its first Industry-University-Research Partnership for the development of the Automotive Parts Industry in BJFEZ


Busan Jinhae Free Economic Zone (BJFEZ) Authority has announced that it signed a business agreement to form an Industry-University-Research Partnership to support and boost the innovative growth of the automotive parts industry in BJFEZ.

● Busan Techno Park
● Design Council Busan
● Busan Machinery Research Center of KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials)
● LSTME Busan
● Industry-Academy Cooperation Foundation of Dongmyung University

As the Korean government's free economic zone policy paradigm shifted from “development and foreign investment attraction” to “innovative growth,” the BJFEZ Authority proposed the formation of this partnership to accelerate the development of innovative growth leading projects.

All members of this collaboration will seek mutual cooperation among organizations and agencies responsible for investment attraction and corporate support, and will develop a system to support innovative growth of the automobile parts industry in BJFEZ through supporting their business and networking as well as education and training.

This partnership will play a key role in BJFEZ’s plan to apply for the of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy scheduled to open in December 2021.
