BJFEZ starts New Year with new major road on January 3, 2013
This major road is 3.19km long with 4-6 lane connecting the Dudong Jinhae and Busan Science Industrial Park at Jisa area. It will reduce the travel time to 5 minute from about 12minunte and shorten the distance of travel to 4.5 Km from 13Km.
This will provide great benefit to local economic, especially for the logistic operation, cutting down the logistic cost to about half.
BJFEZ also anticipating that, this will invigorate develop of the BJFEZ area.

Groundbreaking ceremony for Hoganas of Sweden was celebrated at Mieum district in BJFEZ with about 50 guests companied by commissioner Ha(BJFEZ), Director Jung(City of Busan), and President of Hoganas Japan.
And on a same day (January 29, 2013) Busan-Jinhae Free Economic and Korea Maritime Institute signed business agreement for the cooperation of development between the Port logistic companies and Maritime Institute.

BJFEZ also hosted three visitations;
First, National assemblyman Kim, Gyeongnam provincial assembly vice president Jung, Gyeongnam provincial member Bae and Changwon municipal assemblyman Jang visited the BJFEZ (Commissioner Ha) and received the office duty report then visited the Hanjin Shipping Co., New Port information center and more…on January 11, 2013.
Second, about 30 students from Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in South Korea visited the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone an received the presentation on BJFEZ’s function on January 15, 2013.
Third, Government Leaders of Sejong City visited the Busan Jinhae Free Economic Zone to review the functionality of operation on January 18, 2013.
