On May 1, 2013 BJFEZ Authority welcomes the 4th Commissioner Seok-Soong Seo. The inauguration ceremony was held front of 150 invited guests and BJFEZ staffs. With his background and experience that commissioner Seo, bring a bright future for development of the BJFEZ as world’s best free economic zone.

Opening ceremony for LG CNS Busan Global Cloud Data Center was held on May 7, at Mieum district in BJFEZ which will bring a benefit for the companies around the BJFEZ areas.

This month BJFEZ had lots of visitation from foreign government officials,
They are;
1. Sri Lanka government officials visited on May 1.
2. Busan Dong-A university officers visited on May 21, to discuss the issues of foreign investment opportunity for foreign education institution.
3. India senior government officers visited on May 24, sponsored by Korea Development institute.
4. Poland Investment Authority staffs visited on May 31.
5. PNC (Pusan Newport Co. Ltd.) staffs and vice president Cameron Thorpe visited on May 31, to discuss the business-related cooperation.
