Foreign Investors to Benefit from Foreign Hospitals within the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone

For those living overseas, it is imperative that the necessary services are available to them and offered in a language they can both speak and understand. In particular, when it comes to family health and safety, nothing short of the best in hospital care should be considered.

To accommodate the needs of its foreign investors, the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority signed a financing agreement in Hong Kong on August 1 with KNC Capital Advisors, Woori Bank and ABN AMRO for the establishment of a foreign hospital within the zone.

As a result, a specialized U.S.-based institution will collaborate in conducting a feasibility study to examine the Myeongji New International City as a prime candidate for such a facility.

Not only will the establishment of a foreign hospital further attract foreign investors to the area, but it will also serve those currently living within the vicinity including both the domestic and expatriate populations.
