Month of January, BJFEZ began with optimized mind on global economy considering the downcast on world economic forecast.

First we had a visit from members of Japanese government officials. This was to strengthen the relationship between BJFEZ Authority and Japanese government. In this meeting Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kang discussed the issue of improvement on public relationship and created the efficient administrative operations. The members of Japanese government were Democratic Party Mr. Zukeran and Mr. Tamakiand; National Assemblyman Mr. Kohirata; Janpan and Consulate General Mr. Miyatsu.

Secondly Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority and Busan Port Authority entered into a business collaboration agreement for interagency coordination, investment promotion and joint marketing activities.
The intentions for this agreement are using the partnership source to attract investors by providing the high quality port layout, better service for logistics systems, and creating the positive environment for all the companies. Being partnership in force will work in these areas by jointly developed business model for international logistics, making promotional items, and tackling the grievances of local businesses to success.

Commissioner Myeng-Keun Ha expressed that; through this agreement both authorities will have enthusiastic motivations in constructing the world best port and logistics complex by positively upgrading mutual cooperation and support between the two organizations.
