BJFEZ Authority announced the 6th BJFEZ Annual English Speech Contest.
For the past 5years BJFEZ Authority has helped the improvement of local students’ English speech skills, and it will hold the 6th annual English Speech Contest during October 30 ~ November 1, 2012 for the students from elementary level through university level in the Busan and Gyeongnam areas.
This year the prizes money total and scholarship will increase for all the four categories of levels, and the subjects they will speech about is; “Introductions of BJFEZ to Foreign Enterprises”, for elementary, middle school, and high school students. For university students subject is “How to publicize the BJFEZ to Global entrepreneurs in an effective way.”
We are looking forward to this event in coming late October.

Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority and Hoganas of Sweden signed a MOU of USD $13 million on July 19, 2012.
Hoganas enterprise of Sweden singed a MOU with Commissioner Ha of BJFEZ Authority and will go on a construction of a manufacturing plant at the foreign investment zone of Mieum Industrial complex on a land of 11,000m².
The Hoganas enterprise leading the world in technology and production of the Metallic compounds was established back in 1797 at Sweden, and now as a global company they are manufacturing the metal powder with the annual sales of over USD $1billion.
Hoganas’ advanced products is expected to enhance the technical level of local manufactures, where auto companies are trying to produce energy efficient vehicles, focusing on the lighter and stronger engine development, thus reducing the waste gas emissions. So, this investment of Hoganas will greatly benefit the both Hoganas and auto industries in the Busan and Gyeongnam areas.

Three visitations to BJFEZ Authority
-First vice Chief Gill and committee members of Qingdao Port Custom officers of China visited BJFEZ Authority on Thursday July 12.
-The second chairman of the board and officers of the medical school of Japanese “N” University visited the BJFEZ Authority on Tuesday July 17, and discussed investment opportunity with Commissioner Ha. After that, they toured Ungdong area of BJFEZ area.
-Ten members of Shanghai tourist office visited the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority and received the presentation on the BJFEZ’s roles, development plans, achievement, ets., and briefing about the ongoing development projects.
