The BJFEZ Authority Participates in Invest Korea Summit 2023 

to Facilitate Investment Attraction in the Korea’s Largest Event to Promote Foreign Investment.

◈ The BJFEZ Authority takes part in Invest Korea Summit 2023 held at Exhibition Center 2 of BEXCO, Busan.

◈ The Summit is the largest event in Korea to attract foreign investors from 168 companies worldwide.

The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Kim Ki-young, hereafter referred to as ‘the BJFEZ Authority') will participate in Invest Korea Summit 2023, held from November 7 to 8 at BEXCO, Busan. The Authority will promote investment incentives and location advantages, providing consultations to identify and attract potential investments and businesses to the Busan-Jinhae Free Trade Zone (referred to as ‘BJFTZ’).

Invest Korea Summit, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and organized by KOTRA, is Korea’s largest event to attract foreign investors. This year's summit is the first event turning IKW (Invest Korea Week) into a representative event to attract investment at a national level.

This event, joined by 168 companies, including CEOs from domestic anchor companies and global businesses, will implement town hall meetings, conferences, consultations to promote investment, and other programs operating 54 promotional booths divided into semiconductor, secondary battery & energy, future mobility, bio-pharmaceutical zones by industries.

The BJFEZ Authority will operate a promotional booth (B-09), implementing tailor-made consultations for investment while promoting excellent location conditions and various incentives of BJFEZ to find potential investors.

Kim Ki- young, Commissioner of BJFEZ Authority, stated, “BJFEZ is a place equipped with logistics infrastructure encompassing airport, seaport, and railways, set to become a center of international business and logistics with the completion of Gadeok New Airport in 2029, Jinhae New Port in 2040.” “We will use this event as an opportunity to promote the best investment environment of BJFEZ to global investors, leading to attracting more investment,” he added.
