July 9, 2004, at 10:00 to 15:00, Mr. Chang Soo-man, commissioner of
the BJFEZA, held an Investment Seminar in collaboration with the
MOMAF(ministry of maritime affairs and fisheries) at New Otani hotel
in Tokyo, Japan for the purpose of attracting FDI into the BJFEZ.
The BJFEZA invited key persons related to the logistics industry in
Japan and presented current staus, developing projects, distribution
planning of logistics area of the the BJFEZ. Also mentioned was the
BJFEZA's competitive vision and many roles it has in the region.
Moreover, BJFEZA discussed methods for establishing joint investment
with the nine leading logistic companies in Japan, and setting up the
business in the BJFEZA. Out of nine companies, Misui Co. Ltd. and
Hoiuzi Co. Ltd., expressed their intention to visit the BJFEZA soon.
