On March 31, at the Busan Lotte Hotel, the BJFEZ Authority hosted a conference which was attended by representatives from various civic groups in Busan. The gathering was organized as forum in which local civic organizations could discuss their concerns and issues regarding the development of the BJFEZ. At the conference, Commissioner Chang requested active support from those present for the smooth handling of such issues and concerns. He also explained to those in attendence the current status and progress of the BJFEZ and also introduced the success story of Dubai as to how an FEZ can flourish.

 

It was agreed by all present that a sincere joint effort should be made to revitalize the local economy and the relationship between Busan civic groups and the BJFEZ Authority.
